Rod Hutcheson is a lifelong Kentuckian and a 40-year resident of Bowling Green who will bring proven leadership and real-world experience to the 6th District.

 

Rod and his wife, Eva, met at Western Kentucky University and have been married for over 40 years. Eva is a Special Education teacher at South Warren Middle School, and their three children-Josh, Leslie, and Nate are proud graduates of Greenwood and South Warren High Schools where Rod served on the sight based decision making councils. The entire family are WKU alumni and Rod is a lifetime member of the WKU Alumni Association and a long time member of Hilltopper Athletic Foundation.

 

Rod holds a degree in Finance from WKU and is a licensed real estate agent and general contractor serving residential and commercial clients across Warren County.

 

His professional background includes leadership roles with Farm Credit Mid-America, Bayer Animal Health, and Pfizer Animal Health, where he managed national accounts , regional sales teams and operations.

 

Committed to community service, Rod serves as President of the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club, has chaired Thunderfest, volunteers with Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief, and has supported local student-athletes as a leader of South Warren High School Track and Cross Country Boosters clubs.

 

With strong family values, local roots, and decades of leadership, Rod is ready to deliver results for the 6th District through properly managed growth.
